Chasing the crown for 'Most Comedy Gigs Added To a Tour In Living History' (held by Peter Kay) is Scouser , John Bishop. We announced his tour not so long ago and now another pile of performances has been confirmed for October onwards.
First of all, we have two gigs that are not yet on sale - October 13th at the Dublin Vicar Street goes on sale at 9am on Friday 12th Feb and December 14th at Wembley goes on sale at 10am tomorrow (Thursday 11th). Get in quick because the man is in demand, as they say. He has sold out of many of his early 2010 dates with ease (check the links to find out).
The rest of the newbies are all on sale now starting with Sunderland on Oct 10th, Hastings (15th), Hi Wycombe (17th), Dartford (27th), Scarborough (Nov 19th), Chesterfield (Dec 6th), Doncaster (9th), Wolverhampton (10th), Portsmouth (13th), Manchester (15th) and finally (for now) Newcastle on Dec 16th. Tickets start from around £20.
As if performing Wembley Arena wasn't enough, two more arena dates have been added - one at the Manchester Evening News Arena on 15th December, the other even closer to home for John, in Liverpool's Echo Arena on 17th December.
In addition to these two dates, he's also decided to fill in the gaps between 10th October and 17th December, adding dates in High Wycombe, Swindon, Northampton, Dudley, Leeds, Stoke-on-Trent and another Liverpool date (Southport Theatre on 23rd Nov).
Tickets for the London, Manchester and Liverpool Arena dates dates go on sale tomorrow at 9AM - all other Autumn/ Winter dates on sale now.
