Cheryl Cole has been announced as the support act for the recently-expanded Black Eyed Peas UK tour this May/ June.

The Girls Aloud singer will make her solo debut in front of UK arena fans in London, Birmingham and Manchester, starting at the "most successful Arena in the World" (how cool is that sentence, UK-dwellers?!) on 5th May. The singer has previously collaborated with Peas' singer will. i. am on the songs: 'Heartbreaker' and '3 Words' - hmm.. is a lickle live collaboration on the cards, I wonder...

At present, no support has been announced for the two Dublin acts (which actually kick-off the UK/ Ireland tour on 1st and 2nd May), and no mention has been made on Cheryl's site, so presumably not her.

Tickets for 'Boom Boom Pow' Manchester date and two of the London dates (5 and 6th of May) have now sold-out, with a sprinkling of tickets still available for the 27th May O2 Arena date, but fear not as 3 new dates will go on sale tomorrow: London (28th May), Manchester (24th May) and Birmingham (1st June) - all with official after-shows in IndigO2 (London), Pure (Manchester) and the O2 Academy (Birmingham).

The new dates go on sale at 9AM tomorrow, gigs costing £49.50, and the after-shows cost £20 + fees.

There are special packages available, named 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Meet Me Half Way' and 'Boom Boom Pow', which, as the last name suggests will blow a hole in your pocket, but will get you premium tickets, VIP registration, merchandise, VIP parking (some packages), access to the pre and post-show parties.
