Spiritualized added to Matt Groening's ATP May 2010 Festival line-up

Posted: 26th January 2010

Spiritualized are the latest band to be added to this May's ATP festival curated by The Simpsons' Matt Groening at Butlin's in Minehead.

The English space-rockers will perform their much-acclaimed 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space' which ran for four nights in the London's Royal Festival Hall and Barbican, garnering almost-unanimous rave reviews. The show will see the septet joined by strings and a choir as they recreate their 1997 album.

Also added today are: Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions, Cold Cave, The Tiger Lillies, The Fresh and Onlys and Hello Saferide who join the likes of Iggy and The Stooges, the XX, Coco Rosie, Built To Spill, Deerhunter, Daniel Johnston, The Residents and festival faves Amadou and Mariam.

The festival takes place between 7th and 9th May at Butlin's in Minehead and there are now literally just a handful of rooms remaining: 4-7 berth room, self-catering/ room only, starting at £654 + booking fee (check the "Tickets" buttons, below for availability).

If you've never been to an ATP festival before, check reviewer Simon Godley's rave review of the 2009 'Nightmare Before Christmas' festival, curated by My Bloody Valentine (check the "reviews" section, to the right).

Better get on the phone to your mates pretty sharp-ish, then!
