Festival time brings up some great venues and right up there would have to be Lime Tree Farm in North Yorkshire, the home of the fantastic 'Limetree Festival', running from August 27th-29th this year.
The 25 acre site is certainly a place of natural beauty, with a nature conservation located there and also features a pagan stone circle and a 10th Century Roundhouse. But during the festival it becomes a place for people and lovers of all musical genres to join together and have a blast. If you're a jazz person, a dance head or like some straight old Rock this place caters for you and the line-up this year is pretty darn good so far with Chumbawumba, London Elektricity, Cantaloop, The Selecter, Adrian Edmondson's daughter Ella Edmondson, Belinda O'Hooley & Heidi Tidow, Los Guajiros and East Park Reggae Collective just a few of the many diverse groups already announced with further to be added in February.
So if you think this festival is your kinda thing then get yourself a ticket from the links, below. Prices vary depending on your group or amount of days you are staying but getting advance tickets work out better and this year there is a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 sprogs under 17 for £200, or an adult single weekend ticket costing £80 in advance. Enjoy!
