Glaswegian alternative rock quartet Twin Atlantic have today announced the postponement of a number of forthcoming tour dates, which was due to start next week at the Joiners ion Southampton.

The tour will now kick-off in Sheffield on 1st February (date unchanged) owing to the fact that the band have (at the last minute) been added to Enter Shikari's European tour until the end of the month. A number of the dates have been left unchanged, including the aforementioned Sheffield date, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle, but note that the Newcastle gig has now been moved to Digital (from the Other Rooms).

Tickets remain valid - the band's hometown gig at the Glasgow ABC has recently sold-out, speaking about which front-man Sam McTrusty said:

I think being a band for two and half years and selling 1,250 tickets 3 weeks before the show speaks volumes. The future of this band is very exciting right now and this is just the beginning.

At the beginning of March, the band release their latest single 'Lightspeed' - check the video (above, right)

None of the dates have been cancelled, but those wishing to obtain a refund for the rescheduled dates should contact the ticket agent through whom they made their purchase.

Tickets are still available for some dates, costing £6 for all but the London Borderline gig, which costs £8.
