In the lapse of a decade, the Mexican pair, Rodrigo y Gabriela, have gone a long way: from head banging within the obscure thrash metal band "Tierra Ácida", to touring their hyperactive acoustic outfit on the open mic circuit and busking the streets of Dublin, until they caught the ear of Irish fellow acoustic nut, Damien Rice, who invited them to support him at Oxygen'05.

In September '09, they released a new opus, 11:11, a follow-up to their acclaimed 2006 self-titled release, which at the time had managed the unimaginable: robbing Arctic Monkeys' Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not from the top spot in the Irish charts!

In their long-lasting tradition, 11:11 is entirely instrumental, only this time, each track is dedicated to one of R & G's guitar heroes (Santana, Hendrix and Pink Floyd feature)....

After mesmerizing crowds worldwide with their acoustic Latin folk rock, Rodrigo y Gabriela will bring their guitar mastery to London Shepherd's Bush Empire for five dates in November (2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th).
