Deadmau5 Not Taking The Mickey with Two More Brixton Dates to Meet Demand, April/ May 2010

Deadmau5

Such is the increasing demand for one Joel Zimmerman that further dates have been added for his appearances in Brixton during the spring. Deadmau5 will now play on Saturday 1st May and Sunday 2nd May since the previously announced April 30th date is pretty close to selling out. The new tickets will cost £26.50 plus fee.

2009 was quite a year for the Mau5 - his album 'For Lack of a Better Name' reached number 19 upon its release late last year and featured collaborations with Pendulum's Rob Swire and MC Flipside. It also earned the Canadian producer and technician (he hates being called a DJ) several awards including Artist of the Year on the URB Reader's Poll for 2009, Dance Recording Of The Year at the Juno Awards and Best Electro and Progressive Act at the Beatport Music Awards. He was also nominated for a Grammy.

The Brixton shows have turned into a bit of a residency and will surely cement Deadmau5's reputation as a premier league attraction around the clubbing circuit. A new download single, 'Strobe', has just been released via Beatport featuring remixes by Plump DJs and DJ Marky.
