No rest for the wicked is an adage Peter Doherty seems to follow by the letter: after an epic year in 2009 which saw him reach the much-dreaded big 3 0, gain his full first name back, release a very interesting album in 'Grace/ Wastelands', play insane amounts of gigs throughout Europe, get in and out police stations and court rooms for indulging in guilty pleasures, Doherty has announced a couple of gigs at Whitechapel music venue, The Rhythm Factory ( early days' HQ of Peter's former/soon-to-reunite band, The Libertines). So, Mr. Doherty will perform 'solo' (though his live line-up has often included three of his Babyshambles mates) on two dates, January 8th and 14th .

Though three shows were originally scheduled on January 14th, 15th and 17th, due to "unforeseen circumstances" (your guess...), ticket holders for the 15th and 17th will be able to attend on the 8th instead.

Advance tickets cost £15.00, £ 20.00 on the door.
