As previously announced, Liverpool's O2 Academy is to play host to Madchester legends Happy Mondays this new year's eve.

As well as Shaun, Bez and co., The Pet Sounds night will feature live music from local boys Western Promise. Tickets cost £27.50 + booking fee and can be collected from the box office on the night from 7PM, with doors opening at 8PM.

Dancer, Bez is in for a busy night, as he's going to need to trek over to West Yorkshire to play a DJ set at the Elbow Room in leeds (tickets cost just £5 + booking fee). Support for that gig comes from Stone Roses tribute act The Stoned Roses.
