Last Minute London New Year's Eve 2009 Gig Tickets

For the last few years, New Year's Eve parties have become a massive thing all over the country, with a number of events selling-out well ahead of the event.

Well, here's a few running in the capital which still have tickets available - and there's some good 'uns!

Want some live NYE music? No problem, as Roy Ayers continues his December run at the Jazz Cafe, including a date on 31st Dec. Tickets cost £36 + booking fees - with seating tickets long-since sold-out. Roy will see in the new year with you until 1AM, at which point DJ Perry Louis takes over with a blend of funk, soul and disco - tickets cost just a fiver + booking fee.

The Flowerpot plays host to the doyens of 2009 alt-folk Mumford and Sons, also featuring Everything Everything, Johnny Flynn, Pete Roe, Davie Fiddle and DJs: Head Gardener (Secret Garden Party) and Flowerpot residents. Tickets cost £25 + booking fees.

Camden venues The Barfly, Monarch and Enterprise join forces to present the "NYE 2009 Chalk Farm Jamboree!", featuring live acts: Rogues, Spindle & Wit, Hot Blood, Ultimate Power Club, Casino Royale, Bloody Awful Poetry and more, with DJs: Ultimate Power Club, Jools Butterfield (Hot Blood / LoveBox Allstars), Last FM DJ Crew and many more. The theme for the night is "Superheroes", so dress appropriately! Tickets cost £16 + booking fee, and get you access to all three venues.

Staying in Camden, KOKO plays host (again) to Reverend and the Makers with support this year from Example and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool at the Club NME NYE shindig. There's a few tickets remaining, costing £35 + booking fee.

Monto Water Rats near King's Cross hosts Liverpool quartet Amsterdam, featuring The Cutaway and Sniper DJs. Doors open very early - 5PM, with tickets costing just £10 for box office collection tickets (limited) - £15 otherwise.

Masters of a good ol' new year's knees-up Chas and Dave are no more, but fear not, as Chas and his Band, features Chas on piano/ vocals with original drummer Micky Burt, bringing you all the faves, including: Ain't No Pleasin' You, Rabbit, Gertcha and London Girls. Tickets cost £29.50, with the gig starting at 8:30PM.

Rockfeedback, Transgressive Records and Heavenly Jukebox host an NYE bash at the Social in Little Portland Street, with Ed Harcourt and Johnny Flynn providing the live vibe, with DJs from midnight. Tickets cost just £15 + booking fee.

In deepest, darkest souf London - Lewisham, to be precise - resides Dirty South, which will play host to The Thirst, Krakatoa and a Mystery Jets DJ set. Doors open at 7PM - ticket-holders must be in by 10:30PM. Tickets cost just £12.50 + booking fee.

Staying in the best part of London (the bit that's south of the Thames, that is), Brixton's Alabama 3 present their regular 'Outlaw' night at Jamm in Brixton. Sierra Maestra kick-off the night, playing their soulful electronic funk, followed by eleven-piece ska/ funk The Skanks, Sheep on Drugs with Alabama 3 playing twice on the night and DJs.Doors open at 8PM and tickets cost £15 + booking fee.

If you fancy some New Year's Eve spunk, then head on over to The Macbeth in Hoxton for the Cave Club's 'Spunk', featuring Bo Ningen, Happy Bunny and DJ sets from The Horrors (Spider Webb, Coffin Joe and Tom Furse ) and more, billed as: "8 Hours Of Sonic Delight: Psychedelic Sounds, Casino Soul, Punk Freak Out, Dub Rhythms and Early Electronic Dance.". Tickets cost £12 + booking fee and the event runs from 9PM to 5 AM (doors: 8PM).

Bangers and Mash stage their last club night of the decade at The Garage, with DJ Sets from White Lies, The Feeling and The Rifles. Doors open at 9PM and tickets cost £20 + booking fee.

Madame JoJo's in Soho hosts Lost & Found's NYE party, featuring DJ sets from Keb Darge (Deep Funk) and Andy Smith (Portishead). Tickets cost £20 + booking fee.

Finally, for something a little different, Shoreditch's Last Days of Decadence hosts it's final club/ cabaret show of '09, featuring Correspondents, Bohemianauts, Dusty Limits, Lydia Darling, Tempest Rose, Tricity Vogue, Bees Knees and Earl of Ealing. Tickets cost £25 + booking fee, doors open at 8PM.
