Yes indeed, the Star Wars in Concert Tour is almost upon us and this might just be THE Christmas present for the little (or larger) Skywalker or Leia in your life. John Williams has personally chosen the most significant and memorable pieces from all of the Star Wars brand and paired it with montages from the movies themselves. Basically, you can watch the orchestra perform whilst the projected clips and magical moments appear on a vast screen in front of you. C-3PO (Anthony Daniels, the actor who played the crotchety robot anyway), will introduce each piece and offer an outline as to its significance in the film.

Add to that an exhibition of rare props and memorabilia and you have quite a night.

The tour takes in Liverpool Echo Arena (March 9th), Sheffield Arena (10th), Glasgow SECC (13th), Manchester MEN (15th), Birmingham NEC (April 2nd), London's O2 Arena (3rd/4th) and Newcastle Metro (6th). Tickets are on sale now and cost from £30 to £65 plus fees. Please note that doors will open at 6pm at most venues.
