Corinne Bailey Rae

Following the untimely events of the last eighteen months which have left her a widow, reformed nu-soul singer, Corinne Bailey Rae, is preparing a strong comeback in the spotlight, as anticipated from her recent appearances on Later with Jools Holland and at The Tabernacle.

February 1st 2010 will see the release of her second studio album, The Sea, a follow-up to her self-titled 2006 debut, which featured the immense singles, Put Your Records On and Like A Star, and propelled Bailey Rae to international superstardom.

With tracks like "Are You Here?", "I'd Do It All Again" and "Closer", The Sea is thought to have a more personal feel and approach to it, which she will showcase during the intimate (for her profile, that is) confines of the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 24th February.

This is currently the only UK date announced by Bailey Rae, so do not miss the countdown!... Tickets go on sale, this Friday, 18th December, at 9am.
