Salt N Pepa for UK return at BLOC Weekend 2010 - March 12th-14th

Posted: 14th December 2009

Hmmm... Drooling in delight already, as the Bloc Weekend Festival, is opening its fourth chapter the second weekend of March (12th-14th), in the lovely surroundings of the Butlins Minehead Resort, in Somerset.

Aside from the promise of a lovely seaview, the electronic music festival has secured a super tasty bill with the likes of the almighty Grandmaster Flash, Roots Manuva, veteran she-rappers Salt'N'Pepa, Mercury Prize alumna Ms Dynamite, Grimer superstars Wiley & JME, Congo Natty, Autechre, Skream b2b Benga, Lindstrom, and many others, who will take to the ten or so stages in the course of the weekend

With the scope of intensive boogie sessions during these 72 hours, expect no camping: all fest-goers will be treated to indoors/ apartment accommodation, in order to decently recuperate from their dancing efforts day after day!

Also, in anticipation of this festive extravanganza, BLOC will host its New Year's Eve Launch Party at a secret central London venue with Eastern Electrics, from 9pm to 7am, on December 31st, with the likes of Kode 9, MJ Cole, Plastician, Appleblim, Steve Bug, Shonky, Geddes, Simon Morell, Justin Martin, Riva Starr and Noel Mas on the decks for your entertainment! (tickets cost £15 - check below for availability).

Tickets for BLOC 2010 range from £140.00 to £150.00 per person (+ booking fee), depending on the accommodation package (standard, silver, gold) booked, and are on sale now from
