Starting out as a London-only festival in 2008, the Stag and Dagger progressed to a three-city shindig by involving Leeds and Glasgow last year. The cheapo-bargain event makes a welcome return on May 21st 2010, and although the line-up has yet to be announced, Early Birds are (ahem) flying. London and Glasgow have been confirmed so far for this year.

The principle behind the festival is that an all-in-one ticket allows you access to any Stag & Dagger gig or venue during the designated time period. No more admission fees, no more touts - just a good old wristband and a smile. We like it a lot. Prices usually start at just £1, rising to £10 for the most expensive. At present the cheapest London tickets are £4 (plus fees) which is a bargain, especially when you look at a few of 2008 and 2009's performances. Evan Dando, Cold War Kids, Andrew Weatherall and White Denim have all graced the stages at the selected East End/Glasgow/Leeds venues.
