Angular guitar scamps, These New Puritans, have announced a brace of in the New Year in support of their forthcoming second album. There will also be a little bit of fun leading up to each gig - read on....

Their tour will take in London's Bush Hall (Shepherd's Bush) on Jan 25th, Brighton's Audio (Feb 1st), Birmingham's Hare And Hounds (Feb 2nd), Manchester's Deaf Institute (Feb 3rd), Glasgow's Captains Rest (Feb 4th), Newcastle's Dog And Parrot (Feb 5th) and finally the Leeds Brudenell Social on the 6th. Tickets are under a tenner for the most part and are on sale now.

The band's second album, 'Hidden', gets a release on January 18th and to promote the album still further, TNP will be hiding a limited number of tickets around the areas near to each venue just prior to the gigs taking place. Clues as to their whereabouts will be posted on the band's website beforehand. The album is also supported by the release of the epic track, 'We Want War', as a 10" and download - this will drop on January 11th.
