Spunky little three-piece, Twisted Wheel, have announced a UK tour in February next year, just after returning from supporting power-rock outfit, Jet, in Japan. They have recently been supporting Paul Weller, but these new dates will be their own headlining tour.
The dates start on Feb 11th at the Birmingham Academy and continue to Manchester (Academy 2 - 12th), Leeds (Brudenell Social - 13th), Nottingham (Bodega - 18th), Sheffield (Leadmill - 19th), Edinburgh (Electric Circus - 20th), London (Lexington - 23rd), Wimbledon (Watershed - 25th), Coventry (Kasbah - 27th), Wigan (Indiependence -nice name - March 5th), Buckley (Tivoli - 6th), Swindon (12 Bar - 13th), Hull (Lamp - 19th) and finally Leicester's Music Cafe on the 20th.
Clearly the promoters have opted to use a dart-board when figuring out the ticket prices but they seem to start at £5 for the Coventry date to £8.50 for the Manchester one. Even adding fees, it's a tenner max to see a band that released a decent album this year (think The Enemy when they were good, Shed Seven and a mere smidgen of Weller in his heyday). Tickets are on sale now.
