Blondie will be the subject of Proud Camden gallery's new exhibition as of next week, or more precisely their leading lady, i.e. (erstwhile) bombshell Debbie Harry, whose famously effortless pout will cover the gallery's walls for a month, from December 8th to 11th January 2010.

Shot by former photojournalist-turned-80s jet-set snapper, Brian Aris, 'Being Blondie: Debby Harry by Brian Aris', captures the icon of new wave and punk rock cool at her best. Aris says on the matter: "I have been blessed to have worked so many times with not only such a beautiful looking woman but someone who has become an icon all over the world. Debbie has crossed over three decades of the music business and her appeal is as strong today as it ever was."

Sightly enough for the glass-hearted, 'Being Blondie...' will be available to view daily (Mon-Sun), from 11am to 5pm, and it is free!
