The successful Isle Of Wight Festival 2010 is set to take place on the island from Friday June 11th until Sunday June 13th with some of the major headliners already announced including The Strokes, who have now been confirmed for Saturday night. 55,000 IOW fans each year can't be wrong so get ready to race for tickets!
Tickets go on sale on Friday 4th December at 9am. Prices start at £150 per adult camping, £130 non-camping, children from 7yrs to 12yrs camping £75/ non-camping £65 with kids 6yrs and under for free. Don't forget to mention them when booking your tickets - they MUST have a wristband. Whichever you choose, allgigs will direct you to an official ticket agent below, from Friday.
So who's confirmed so far? Jay-Z can lay claim to winning over Glastonbury during his 2008 performance and he is set to bring his hip-hop 'Blueprint' to the Isle Of Wight as the headliner on the Friday evening. The Strokes will head-up the Saturday night while the Sunday night's headline act has yet to be announced.
On other stages, Pink, Orbital and new-wave legends Blondie and Squeeze will appear as special guests with many more to be announced soon. Keep 'em peeled!
