The Tale of T in the Park 2010 and Other Early Birds - Tickets now/ soon!

Posted: 14 years ago

I expect the last thing you thought about this morning was, 'ooh I really want to pitch a tent in a dank wet field and wake up with a damp patch on my cold arse, complete with someone's feet in my face'. Really? Did you? Then of course, you will already have sweaty palms at the thought of next year's T In The Park Festival, just announced.

The 2010 bash will run from Friday 9th July to Sunday 11th and, get this, tickets are held at 2009 prices for a limited batch ONLY, released at 9am Friday 4th December. The festival will be held at last year's location as well - Balado, near Kinross in Scotland. Be assured that there will be a packed line-up just like last year's - Kings of Leon, Blur, Killers, Elbow, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Nick Cave graced the various stages last year. The first major 2010 acts will be announced in the New Year along with the next batch of tickets.

Excluding fees, tickets for weekend camping and the music will start at £170 - add in Thursday and it will cost £180. If you just want to attend without hammering a tent-peg through your foot, instead relying on local B&Bs and bothys, then it will cost just £145. Why not treat your loved one to a T in The Park ticket for Christmas??

Another Early Bird offer but ending tonight (Nov 30th) is for the The Magic Loungeabout 2010 Festival. This family festival takes place at Broughton Hall near Skipton (Yorks). Although the line-up has yet to be announced, you can expect quality such as Nouvelle Vague, Morcheeba , Ladytron and Likke Li, as well as loads of workshops and funshops for the kids (or you!). Early Birds will cost £76.80 up until midnight tonight.

We ran an Early-Bird feature back in September (gosh, how time flies when it rains a lot) where we mentioned lots of upcoming festivals with EB tickets up for grabs. Many of those have all sold through but one or two events are still up for grabs at bargain prices. There are still EB tickets for the Wychwood Music Festival. This family event running from Friday 4th June until Sunday 6th June (not on the dates mentioned previously!) and cost £102.60 plus admin. Add £10.80 for an EB camping ticket per person. Others are available including a 3-month payment plan - click to find out more.

The Big Chill 2010 Festival EB tix are still up for grabs at £145 until December 31st so why not round off the year with another Christmas present idea? Students with proper ID can get in for £110, Teens for £60 and young 'uns for £4 (that's 'four' pounds). The event starts on August 5th to the 8th.

Finally for this bulletin, we return to the capital to remind you about the ever-popular and jam-packed Camden Crawl. The 2010 version kicks off on May 1st until the 2nd - it's the Bank Holiday weekend so it will sell-out. Get clicking.

EB tickets make great presents - the gift that keeps on grooving - so get in line to get online.
