There are so many pantos in and around London, it's hard to choose a suitable production for your kids to enjoy. But why bother travelling all the way into the West-End or Central London when you could stay in Zone 4 in South West London?

Richmond Theatre has pulled out all the stops to bring you a hilarious production of the Brothers Grimm classic, 'Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs', which starts its Christmas run from Friday 4th December until Sunday 10th January 2010. This year, their production stars Jane Asher as the Wicked Queen, comedian Tim Vine as Muddles and 'Brittania High' actress, Sapphire Elia, as Snow White. Add in magician, Jonathon Shotton (as the Wicked Queen's Magician) and you have a very special performance of the popular tale that eventually became Walt Disney's first full-length cartoon feature back in 1937.

Classic songs such as 'Heigh-Ho!' and 'Whistle While You Work' complete the evening's entertainment as well as Vine's sharp, quick-fire wit. He proved a hit with 2006 audiences when he starred in Richmond's production of Jack and the Beanstalk, playing the part of Silly Billy. Jane Asher, often described as 'England's flame-haired rose', has appeared in several film, theatre and TV productions including 'The Quatermass Xperiment', 'Adventures of Robin Hood', 'Holby City' and 'Whatever Happened to Sarah-Jane' (Dr Who radio spin-off). She's also a dab hand at cakes although it's doubtful she will be frosting a Victoria sponge during the panto.

Tickets are on sale now and start from £22 (inc. booking fee).
