Controversial San-Fran mucky-pups, Girls, are primed-and-ready for a UK stint next year and no doubt you are ready. Call them Indie-darlings, call them hype-masters, call them what you like, their reputation probably deserves a listen or a viewing.
The tour leaps from the traps in Brighton at the city's Audio venue on February 22nd and continues on to Southampton, Lancaster, Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and ending up at the Hare & Hounds in Birmingham on March 3rd. Tickets will retail for around £8.
Girls have already caused controversy for their 'Lust For Life' video and a subsequent blocking from You Tube, but are they any good? Check out their My Space site for confirmation, listen to the album 'Album' or hide your head in the sand. Your choice - Girls are fit (ahem) and ready to play such charming choons like "Lust For Life", "Hellhole Ratrace" and "Big Bad Mean Motherfucker" in their inimitable 60s psychedelic mash-up style with a sauce of Girly jus. For under a tenner, they have to be worth a gawp!
