'Oopsy Daisy' teen Grimer, Chipmunk, is to be taken seriously by the look of it : after beating the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye West to the Best Hip Hop Act at this year's MOBOs, and appearing on Basement Jaxx's single 'Scars' alongside Kelis, his second studio album (a follow-up to his 2007 debut, ' A League of My Own'), soberly entitled 'I Am Chipmunk' recently peaked at number 2 in the charts, after being released less than a month ago!

To celebrate such light-speed achievements, 18-year-old Jahmaal Fyffe (aka Chipmunk) will cut his teeth on a mini marathonian tour of the UK in February, kicking-off in Birmingham on the 12th, via Leeds (13th), Glasgow (14th), Liverpool (15th) , Manchester (17th) , Bristol (18th) , Oxford (20th) , and ending at London Shepherd's Bush Empire on the 21st.

In anticipation of this series of gigs, Chipmunk will release the appropriately-titled second single, 'Look For Me', on December 28th.
