Fat Friday: Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum, Lady GaGa, Bon Jovi, La Roux and more on sale today (Friday 30th Oct 2009)

Today has to be unprecedented: thirty four acts going on sale, with one hundred and fifty events - it's not so much a Fat Friday, as a morbidly obese one!

Anyway, as a result, we're not going to be able to fit it all on one page, so you'll have to check the artist links either within this article, to the sidebar (on the right), or just above the event listings, below.

Michael Buble

Let's get the heavy-hitters out of the way first, since we've already written about them in the week. Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum, Lady GaGa, John Mayer, La Roux, LostProphets and Noisettes all have 2010 UK tours with tickets going on sale at 9AM today - and not a moment later! Bon Jovi's O2 Summer O2 Arena residency goes on sale at 10AM today.

The Prodigy have announced a massive date at the Milton Keynes Bowl - their biggest solo gig to-date, supported by Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Chase and Status, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Zane Low, it promises to be a great day. Tickets go on sale today at 9:30AM.

Also worthy of a mention is Miley Cyrus, who's added an extra O2 Arena date to her sold-out tour for the end of the year (29th December). Tickets are on sale right now!

Robert Cray Band, led by soulful blues-man Robert Cray, hit the UK in July 2010, with a clutch of dates in Liverpool, Leicester, Norwich, Brighton, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Gateshead - no London date as yet. Tickets on sale at 9AM.

Ian Broudie

Liverpudlian producer, and The Lightning Seeds main man Ian Broudie has announced a co-headline tour with Starsailor's James Walsh, which will the duo in Leeds, Notingham, Manchester, Portsmouth and Northampton from the end of November. Tickets cost £16.50 on sale at 9AM.

Public Image Ltd. [PiL] have just extended their December 2009 London run, adding a date at Camden's Electric Ballroom on 23rd December. Tickets are on sale now, costing £39.50.

Brett Anderson

Next-up: a few front-men doing their own thing: Ex Suede man, Brett Anderson has added a visit to Glasgow for his February 2010 itinerary, and stepping-out on his own for the first time is The Strokes' Julian Casablancas, who hits these shores in December, with a short tour starting at the Ritz Ballroom in Manchester on 11th December, ending at the Forum in Kentish Town on 16th December. Tickets cost £18 for all but the London date, which is £20.

Chipmunk

Getting a bit funkier now: Chipmunk and co. head out on their Feb 2010 Bizarre UK tour, featuring KiD BRiTiSH, Master Shortie, Tinie Tempah and Gracious K. Tickets on sale now from £11 (£12 for the London date).

Skindred have also just announced a 2010 tour, which will (currently) see them play Portsmouth, Derby, Colchester, Preston and Birmingham starting on 9th March at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth. Tickets go on sale at 10AM, costing £12.50.

The Ting Tings

Finally, The Ting Tings have been announced as the last Warehouse Project addition for 2009, with a special homecoming date announced for 29th December, also featuring Mike Pickering, Burns, Now Wave DJs and special guests to be announced. Tickets start at £18.50 and go on sale at 11:AM today.
