Next month's Concert for CARE International at Brixton Academy has just added Damon Gough, the Badly Drawn Boy himself, to the bill. The mixed evening, a battle between comedy and music, takes place on Monday 2nd November and has a confirmed list (see below) that also adds in James Corden and upcoming songstress Beth Rowley.

Appearing on the evening will be: David Arnold, Gary Barlow, Badly Drawn Boy, Rob Brydon, James Corden, Speech Debelle, Kaiser Chiefs, Dara O'Briain , Damien Rice, Beth Rowley, David Walliams and James Dean Bradfield.

Please note that, contrary to previous reports, Jimmy Carr is not booked to appear!

CARE International are a humanitarian charity organization that is one of the world's top three aid agencies, fighting poverty and injustice in over 70 countries around the world and helping 65 million people each year to find routes out of poverty. They are currently involved in the East Africa food crisis, the Indonesia earthquake and typhoon appeals and the effect of conflicts in Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

They need your help so buy a ticket and watch the big names perform for a big cause and, now that Speech Debelle has the Mercury under her arm, there will be extra 'pull' for this gig. Tickets are still available at £30 + booking fee.
