Essex punk-rave crossover mentalists The Prodigy have announced a huge gig for summer 2010. The re-united trio will be playing the enormous Milton Keynes Bowl on 24th July.

Supported by an all-star line-up that includes Enter Shikari and Aussie electro-rockers Pendulum, Keith, Liam and Max will be performing hits from a towering back catalogue that includes heavyweight hits from landmark albums like 'Fat of the Land' and 'Music for the Jilted Generation' alongside newer material from 2008's 'Invaders Must Die'.

The Prodigy's passion for performing live and a knack for capturing the mood of the time have seen nearly 20 years of memorable and frequently iconic music moments. From the 1991 wake-up call that was 'Charly' and 'Out of Space' to the genre-defining 'Firestarter' and (a very nineties) controversy with 'Smack My Bitch Up', The Prodigy have taken ravers to rock and back again.

Around 75,000 ravers will be rocking out (think cider and red bull) at what promises to be quite a day next summer. If they can get a ticket.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 31 October at 9:30AM
