Kasabian

Friday 9th October is a very important date for all Kasabian fans - tickets go on sale on this very day at 9AM for a freshly-confirmed Q Awards gig at the HMV Forum in London's Kentish Town on Wednesday 21st October, joined by special guests Amorphous Androgynous (FSoL). The Leicester band is the latest addition to the week-long Q-related performances announced recently and comes off the back of their recent Q-Award-nominated number 1 album "West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum" plus the small matter of being nominated for 2 further Q Awards - Best Track ("Fire") and Best Live Act. Tickets for the Kasabian gig cost £25. Add another string of live dates later this year during November (starting in Newcastle on the 10th, taking in Wembley Arena en route and finishing in Bournemouth on the 25th( tickets on sale tomorrow at 9AM), and you have a pretty busy schedule for the boys.

The other Forum dates during the week kick-off with nominees White Lies (Best New Act) on 19th Oct , Biffy Clyro (surprisingly not up for an award but due to release their 6th album in October) on 20th Oct, Welsh-crunch-rockers Lost Prophets on 22nd Oct, US grunge-experimentalists Sonic Youth on 23rd Oct and upcoming vocal enigma Paloma Faith (supported by Mumford and Sons) on 24th Oct. Tickets for the Q Awards gigs cost £25 for all but the Paloma Faith date which is £17.50 - all plus booking fee.
