2009 Grand Prix Snooker kicks-off next week (3rd Oct 2009) in Glasgow

With the qualifying rounds out of the way, the draws have been announced for next week's Snooker Grand Prix in Glasgow.

This year's event takes place in Kelvin hall in Glasgow, with the round one matches taking place from Saturday 3rd to 6th October, round two taking place on 7th and 8th, 9th the quarter-finals on 9th, semis on 10th and finals on Sunday 11th October.

2008 winner John Higgins defends his title on the opening day, facing Walsall's Mark Joyce (Saturday 3rd October, 1PM), with World Number One, Ronnie O'Sullivan playing Jamie Burnett on 6th (1:30PM) and Stephen Hendry playing Matthew Selt on 5th October at 1:30PM. See below for the full draw.

Tickets are on sale now, costing £8.50 for a single round 1 or 2 match or £15 for the whole day, £10.50 for a single quarter final match/ £15 for whole day, £16/ £21 for the semis and £22/ £35 for the finals - season tickets are now sold-out.
