Earlier this week, Muse, who on Monday released fifth studio album 'The Resistance' (and it's a good 'un... a grower, for sure!), announced that The Big Pink are to provide support for the UK leg of their tour from 4th to 13th November.

The electro-rock London duo have been gradually sneaking into the public's psyche over the past year, with several glowing reviews on this and other sites, with our very own Paul Pledger awarding recent single 'Dominos' five stars, declaring: "this is their 4th single and yet another blinding release. Bring on the album". Said debut album 'A Brief History of Love' was released this Monday and has garnered rave reviews - watch this space for our take on the album. The guys will be touring the UK this October, with a headline tour from 8th - 22nd October - most tickets give you change from a tenner - check below for availability.

Partnering Muse for the European leg of their tour are Biffy Clyro - another band that in recent years have received much critical acclaim for their releases and live performances, with allgigs reviewer David Adair stating: "Biffy Clyro continue to be a breath of fresh air in the domain of British rock", in his 4 star review of recent single 'That Golden Rule'. Just prior to stepping-out on tour with Muse, the Glaswegians release fifth studio album 'Only Revolutions' on 14rh Floor records, on 9th November.

Biffy Clyro kick-off the UK leg of their UK tour, starting on Tuesday 20th October at the HMV Forum in London, running until their 16th November Southampton Guildhall date before hitting the European road with Muse. Biffy will be ably supported by the certainly-not-from-Manchester and certainly-not-an-orchestra Manchester Orchestra for most of the UK/ Ireland dates.

Tickets for Biffy Clyro's UK dates are on sale now, ranging from £16.50 to £25 (London) - €28.00 for the Olympia Theatre, Dublin date.
