In-keeping with the recent trend for festival ticket sales going on sale well in advance of the actual date, Glastonbury has followed-suit, with the announcement today that tickets for the 2010 event will go on sale next month.
Weekend tickets, costing £185 (£10 more than last year) go on sale at 9AM on Sunday 4th October, with pre-registration required for over-13s - as per the 2009 event - at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk . 2010 will mark the festival's 40th anniversary, so expect something special! Last week came the first band announcement for the 2010 festival: The John E. Vistic Experience - an alternative rock trio that won the Rockstar 09 competition - one of the judges being Glasto organiser Michael Eavis.

They are now sold-out!
