Sleigh Bells Ring - Are Ya Listenin'? Hyde Park Becomes a Winter Wonderland for Christmas 2009

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

No sooner have you packed the barbecue away and thrown out your flip-flops after another stunning Summer (ahem), there comes the dreaded 'C' word to cause a gag in your throat - Christmas and this time it's personal. But it doesn't have to be corporate and cynical - it can be magical and sparkly without having to sell your pets or go on the next episode of Big Sister. Hyde Park could well be the answer...

This year's extravaganza for all the family starts on 21st November and runs until 3rd January (with the exception of a certain 25th Dec). The attractions include a bespoke Winter circus designed by Zippo, a giant ferris wheel, a 60-stall German Christmas market, London's 'largest ice-rink' and special menus available from the park's famous Serpentine Cafe.

There are separate tickets available for each of the attractions but a special combination ticket that allows you to visit the skating rink, the circus and an off-peak ride on the observation wheel, is available at £26.50 for adults and £15.50 for ages 3 to 12. There is a family ticket for £17.50 per member per 4 persons registered.
