Following his departure from the captain's chair in 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' the man known as Part-Troll, but more so as Bill Bailey, is to tour the UK with another set of shows that are sure to increase his critical profile and fanbase.

These new shows are entitled 'Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide To The Orchestra' where he will tour major cities in the UK and Ireland performing with major orchestras from each area, as well as able support from accomplished composer Anne Dudley. The funny man, who is also a classically trained musician, will add his own personal twist to the orchestra with takes on 70's cop show music, news theme tunes as well as his own material.

The tour will start in Cardiff's Millennium Centre on 6th December, with dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, a back-to-back date in the Warwick Arts Centre on 30th Nov and 1st Dec, finishing-off in Edinburgh's Usher Hall on 13th and The Sage in Gatesehead on 14th December.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (18th September) at 9AM and range from £25 to £60 (from €44.50 for Dublin) for the shows and are sure to sell fast.
