The last weekend of November will see the Scottish patron saint, St Andrew, being celebrated in music (among other forms) in Glasgow, UNESCO city of music (hosting about 100 music events each week). From November 27th to November 29th, Scotland's Homecoming will gather some of the nation's top talent, including The Bluebells, Idlewild, James Grant, Kevin McDermott, Hue and Cry, Kenny Anderson, as well as legendary indie popster Lloyd Cole (whose 'Rattlesnakes' 1984 album ranked 22nd as one of the best albums of all time voted by NME readers) and The Vaselines (Kurt Cobain's favourite band), plus newcomer Tommy Reilly (winner of this year's Unsigned Act talent competition) and The View, who will all take centre stage at the SECC for the one-off event, 'Homecoming Live- The Final Fling', on November 28th .

Tickets costs £27.50 for the first bill line-up (Deacon Blue, Lloyd Cole, Hue and Cry, Midge Ure, The Bluebells, James Grant, and Tommy Reilly) and £20.00 to watch and hear The View, Idlewild, The Vaselines, The Law and King Creosote- all on sale now, plus booking fee.
