The mighty Soul man, Maxwell, is soon to reach our estates, as his 'BLACKsummers' night' tour, a bell ringer to his fourth studio album, 'BLACKsummers' night' (released last July, eight years after his previous opus, 'Now'), stops by the UK this fall.

Maxwell has announced three dates: Birmingham (venue tbc) on October 28th, Manchester Academy on October 30th and Hammersmith Apollo in London on October 31st.

His last offering, 'BLACKsummers' night' is the first installment of the upcoming trilogy of the same name, with the second installment, 'blackSUMMERS'night', and the third installment, 'blacksummers'NIGHT', respectively scheduled for release in 2010 and 2011 .

In addition to these few gigs, Maxwell will accompany his US No.1 album with an appearance on "Later with Jools Holland" on 27th October.

Tickets are now on sale, respectively costing £35.00 and £45.00 (+booking fee).
