Riverdance returns for 2010 UK tour

The ever-popular, record-breaking Irish dance show Riverdance returns to the UK for another year next year, starting in March 2010.

The show was originally conceived and choreographed by Jean Butler and Michael Flatley, with a score by Bill Whelan, debuting at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, going on be performed all over the World, with over 19 million people having now seen the show.

The UK tour takes the dance troupe to Bradford's Alhambra Theatre between Mon 8th and Sat 13th March, the Cliffs Pavillion in Southend from Mon 22nd to Sat 27th March, Blackpool's Opera House from Mon 29th March to Sat 3rd April, Bristol Hippodrome between Mon 5th and Sat 10th April, the Palace Theatre in Manchester from Mon 12th to Sat 17th, London's Hammersmith Apollo between Weds 28th April to Sat 1st May, the Mayflower in Southampton from Mon 3rd to Sat 8th May and finally Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall between Tues 11th and Sun 16th May.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (Fri 11th September) at 9AM, starting from £20 for the London dates and from £29.50 to £31 for the others.
