Brummy stand-up and sketch comedian Lenny Henry hits the West End planks this Friday, marking his debut in the city in the role of a stage actor.
Lenny is to play the lead role of in Shakespeare's Othello, a role he has now played - and sold-out - in theatres across the UK, which has seen much acclaim. The story, with its contemporary themes of love, racism, jealousy and desire still strike a chord today, centuries after it was written.
