Hey peeps, it's time to dust off those maracas (not you Bez) and get ready to shake them in excitement because the brilliant Barcelona group Ojos de Brujo are gracing these shores with their fine rhythmic presence for a seven stop tour this November and December. And what's more, they're being backed up by Mexicans!
On the back of their brilliant one-off show in May at London's Roundhouse as well as their latest critically received album ' Aocaná', the nine-piece have decided to give their UK fans an end-of-year treat with the mini tour which starts off in The Sage, Gateshead on November 21st before traversing Bristol, Coventry, Basingstoke, Brighton and Edinburgh before ending at the De Montford in Leicester on December 1st. All through these dates they will be supported by Mexican Institute of Sound (M.I.S.) who know how to get a dance going as well.
So, if you are a fan of socially-aware messages conveyed through a mix of Dub, Hip Hop and Flamenco (or like me just like the second bit) this one's for you. Pop those eyes below for full gig and ticket info. And pop on a nice outfit too!
