Pub in the Park

Would you trade tea for beer anytime? Does pubbing feature in the hobbies section of your CV (under the guise of 'socialising')? Then, this will make your day(s), as Greenwich Park will play host to the first edition of Pub in the Park, a new three-dayer, celebrating the importance of pubs in British culture!

From September 18th to 20th, P (please refrain) in the Park invites you to bring along friends and family and make the most of the pubbing lifestyle, with food (expect the best of S&M and Sunday Roast), sport playing and watching (darts, poker, pool competitions as well as a special 5-a-side game played by "footballing legends", we hear), live music (with sets by U2, Oasis and The Stones tribute bands, a Battle of Bands sponsored by Tuborg, some Americana, Jazz from Cattle Market-winner of this year's Budvar Cheltenham Jazz Festival and some 80s nostalgia, plus karaoke sessions and DJ sets), oh and beer and wine tasting, with sessions and talks on how to really enjoy and appreciate your drinks in future, if you don't already!

Day tickets cost £18.75 pp for adults, £5.50 for 5 to 18-year-olds, and nothing for under-5s; Family tickets (two adults + two children) cost £40.00, adult weekend passes, £37.50 and two -day passes, £32.50. You can also purchase discounted food and drinks tokens books worth £15.00 to £50.00 - all on sale now.
