Music Live and Hellfire Festival 2009 combine for massive November event!

Posted: 14 years ago

The UK's premier Independent Rock and Metal festival is hitting the stage in Birmingham. This year the Hellfire crew are teaming up with Music Live, as they are celebrating their 10th anniversary.

Music Live is a music-making event created to educate and inspire musicians. The show showcases new and innovative equipment and live acts with some big names, such as Duff McKagan from Guns n'Roses and Dave Mustaine from Megadeth.

Between the 6th and 8th of November, over 100 prodigious acts will be performing across 4 stages. The main highlight of the Hellfire festival will be one of the most influential gothic rock bands, 'Fields of Nephilim' headlining the show. Rarely performing live, this is a great chance to see one of Britain's most talented bands.

The festival is hosting some big names, including Saxon, a British heavy metal band with 8 UK Top 40 hits since the 80's, Anvil, a Canadian Metal group having supported big acts including AC/DC [and being the subject of the 2009 documentary film: 'Anvil! The Story of Anvil' - Ed], and My Dying Bride, an English band known as one of the forerunners of the Doom Metal scene.

The festival will be taking place in NEC Birmingham, the venue hosts over 20,000 car parking spaces and being adjacent to the Birmingham International Rail Station, there are no excuses for absence!

Single day tickets retail at £25, whilst you can pick up a 3 day ticket for £55. If you want to attend both, including the Music Live event, single day tickets cost £35 or 3 day passes £75.
