Raise your 'snails' in anticipation - Paramore are back with their 3rd album and a powerful punchy single next month. The album is released on September 28th and is called "Brand New Eyes" and if you want a taster of things to come, check the video for first single "Ignorance", to the right (to be released on September 14th).
Paramore have been busy little bees - as well as the new music, they have just won 2 awards at the Teen Choice Awards and have also been planning the first of several dates on their North American tour, due to commence from September 29th The new album is a mixture of their usual fist-pumping power-rock vignettes and melodic ballads and is produced by Rob Cavallo, who has previously worked with Green Day and My Chemical Romance. Some songs on the album are of a deeply personal nature to the band, particularly plaintive ballads "All I Wanted" and "The Only Exception" and belies the young age of the band, although they baulk at the idea of being called 'mature'.
You can be the judge of their new 'grown-up' sound when the album gets its release via the Fuelled By Ramen imprint next month.
