Posted: 14 years ago

Jack White (White Stripes) and Alison Mosshart's (The Kills) latest project, The Dead Weather, have announced their first full UK tour and ticket details to boot.

The Nashville superband, which is also comprised of Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs) and Dean Fertita (Queens Of The Stone Age), is set to hit the road later this year in October when they will play seven dates across the country. Starting in Manchester on October 19th, the band will play venues in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, and finally close in London on October 29th.

The Dead Weather, who formed earlier this year, released their debut album 'Horehound' in July around the time they played an extensive tour of the US. They'll also be playing some US dates at the start of October.

Tickets are to go on sale at 9am on Friday 14th August at 9am, priced at £18.50 for all but the London dates, which are £20 (+ booking fee).
