Matador Records' poster boy Jay Reatard has announced a November tour as he continues his decade-long career with some long-awaited UK and Ireland dates.

Big hair and big, big fun, Jay Reatard is renowned for his punchy, energetic and unforgettable shows and you should expect to spend your evening doing everything except standing still.

The tour, which begins on November 10th, will see Jay take in Birmingham's O2 Academy, Manchester Roadhouse (12th), London's Underworld (13th), Bristol's The Croft (14th), and finally Liverpool's Barfly on the 15th.

Jay was previously in the bands The Reatards and Lost Sounds, although is known for his solo work and numerous other side projects. He has a remarkable discography behind him, having being involved with over 40 albums and EPs.
