Michael Jackson 'This is it' tour refund policy announced

Posted: 30th June 2009

Today, a statement has been released on the official Michael Jackson tour website (www.michaeljacksonlive.com) regarding the ability to claim a refund for tickets purchased for the O2 London shows.

If you purchased a ticket, you have two options: a full refund, including any service charges, or you can opt to receive the tickets you were originally due to receive. The tickets were inspired and designed by Michael Jackson, and will be printed using a special "lenticular" process (the image changes depending on the angle of view). The tickets measure 82mm x 186mm and come in eight designs (as per picture).

An official statement from AEG Live's president and CEO Randy Phillips read:

The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known. Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death.

Refunds or tickets can be claimed from tomorrow (Weds, 1st July) via the official Michael Jackson tour website www.michaeljacksonlive.com. Refunds will be processed by the authorized ticket agents: www.seetickets.com, www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.ticketline.co.uk or www.viagogo.co.uk . Additionally, SeatWave has also announced its refund policy, which is available here: www.seatwave.com/mj_information .

The deadline to receive the original tickets is 14th August 2009 - no deadline has been given so far regarding refunds.
