Kerrang! - Week of Rock and Bizkits for HMV Forum in July/ August 2009
It's that time of year again to celebrate the edgier side of Rock Music, the type of Rock that's spelt RAWK!!! Yes, it's Kerrang awards season and boy have they got a treat for you, and a blast from the past too.
Starting on 28th July Kerrang are having five straight days of mini concerts in the HMV Forum in Kentish Town, London as part of an entertainment blitzkrieg to end with the always spectacular Kerrang Awards on 3rd August (in a top secret place).
Each day has two supports before the leads play the end of the night and there is something for everyone's rockish tastes as You Me At Six lead the opening night followed by Dragonforce (Yes), Buckcherry (Yesser) and Lacuna Coil (Yesish). Have I missed something? Oh Yes, for the final night of 5 they have none other than Nu-Metal old hats Limp Bizkit who arrive on this shore to play a gig for the first time since 2004. Is this the start of a blazing comeback, or have they stripped down and become a Bluegrass Country band. Or a barbershop even? Who knows.... YOU DO, if you get a ticket. All are available to purchase on Friday 19th June for £20 bar Limp Bizkit who go for £30. If this doesn't tickle your boat then you really mustn't be ticklish. That, or you have no boat.
