Massive Attack have today announced a Reading date for their 2009 Autumn tour.

The Bristol duo embark on a UK tour starting on 17th September with a hat-trick at London's Brixton Academy, Sheffield, Birmingham, the newly-added Reading date on 23rd September, Leeds, Manchester, Manchester, Glasgow, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leicester, Swindon and finishing in Dublin at the Olympia Theatre on 6th October.

Around this time (rumoured to be 22nd September), the band release their fifth studio album (LP5) - with rumours that it will feature collaborations with Elbow's Guy Garvey, long-time cohort Horace Andy and Damon Albarn amongst others.

Tickets for the Reading date at the Rivermead on 23rd September go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday 16th June) at 9AM.
