Warp Records celebrate 20 years with new box set for September 2009

Posted: 14 years ago

2009 represents the 20th year of independent electronica/ dance label Warp Records, and to mark the occasion, they are releasing "Warp20" a box set, featuring five CDs, five slices of yummy 10" vinyl and a 192 page book.

The package features new songs, covers and re-edits, older previously unreleased material from Warp artists, the top ten pieces voted for by Warp fans (twenty thousand personal stories and messages about Warp songs were left by the public, the best of which will appear in the artwork) and founder Steve Beckett's personal faves.

To be released in September, this lavish box set will set you back £100, or £85 if you get your order in before 5th July - in fact, ordering before the 5th July is the only way to guarantee you'll be able to get your hands on one of limited editions sets.

For more information and to order check the Warp20 mini-site: www.warp.net/records/warp20.
