Carousel, which has been showing at the Savoy Theatre on the Strand since December 2008 is set to close this month.

Originally scheduled to run until 25th July, Lindsay Postner's production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, which features the multi award-winning English soprano Lesley Garrett, will now close on Saturday 20th June. It is not yet clear what (if anything) will fill the void, with the next production, Legally Blonde, set to premiere on 10th December this year.
