Pete Doherty, Carl Barat and Gary Powell for Camden Rocks 2009 this Saturday 6th June

The inaugural Camden Rocks kicks-off on Saturday, taking place across four venues in Camden.

The one day event, hosted in association with Trekstock and Kerrang! magazine will feature many great acts who will be appearing at The Monarch, The Underworld, The Barfly and The Prince of Wales.

Appearing at the event will be former Libertines Pete Doherty and Carl Barat (but not necessarily sharing a stage!), Ginger from the Wildhearts, Nine Black Alps, Exit Ten, The Paddingtons and many more live acts. Providing the DJ action will be another former Libertine Gary Powell, who will be joined by Queens of Noize, Sadie Frost, Ian Watkins from Lost Prophets (L'amour La Morgue) and Noel Fielding's brother Mike Fielding (Naboo from the Mighty Boosh). The day kicks-off at midday running until late, and there is an after-party which takes place at Dingwalls on Camden Lock.

Not only is it a day of good music, but also good deeds, as the event supports the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Tickets for the event cost £20 + booking and are available now.
