Following a few intimate UK gigs in Sheffield, Bournemouth and London earlier this month, and on the eve of the release of their sixth studio album, 'Battle for the Sun', due out on June 8th, produced by David Bottrill (responsible for albums by the likes of dEUS, Tool and Silverchair, among others...), Emo Goth veterans, Placebo, led by Brian Molko, will return in December for a mini arena tour via Birmingham, London, Yorkshire, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin between December 8th and December 15th.

In the meantime, they'll embark on an extensive world tour, allowing a couple of festival appearances at the Rockness in Scotland on June 14th, Reading on August 28th and Leeds on August 30th.

Their new album's singles, 'Battle for the Sun' and 'For What It's Worth', respectively came out on March 17th and April 20th.
