Pete Doherty to headline Love Music Hate Racism - Stoke 2009

Next Saturday's Love Music Hate Racism festival at Stoke's Britannia Stadium will now be headlined by Pete Doherty.

As previously announced, the event will take place on Saturday 30th May, featuring a star-studded line-up and an anti-racism sentiment. Joining Pete on the day are his Babyshambles mate Drew McConnell as part of his Helsinki project, Drew's mates Reverend and the Makers will also be performing (Drew and Jon McClure from the Makers are part of 'Mongrel'), N-Dubz, VV Brown, Kelly Rowland, Beverley Knight, Bashy, former Sugababe Mutya Buena, ex-Specials' Jerry Dammers will be there and his special guests, as will The Beat and many more.

The event will be compered by Eddie Izzard and at ten pounds, you'll be hard pushed to find a better musical/ entertainment bargain this year! Tickets available now.
