Beach Break Live 2009: capacity increase and venue announced!

Posted: 14 years ago

Beach Break Live are delighted to announce that the stunning location of St Agnes Beacon will play host to this years ultimate student festival. BBL HQ cherry-picked St Agnes as the perfect site for it's stunning beach side location and traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere, complimenting the festivals ethos completely.

10,000 students are expected to flock to the new site next month, for the most liberating sea-side affair of the festival calendar. Having scoured the coast of Devon, Cornwall and Wales, the BBL crew have found the most beautiful, idyllic and breathtaking location in the UK. With panoramic sea views and a stunning beach nearby, BBL will also be building a beach on site so revellers can watch the main stage from their hammocks!

Celia Norowzian, founder of BBL said: "In about 2 weeks we start work building our very own beach complete with hammocks, volley ball courts and a spot of French boule right next to the main stage! There will also be a skate ramp with pro skaters busting out ridiculous shizzle 'Tony Hawk styley'. So ticket holders can grab themselves a cocktail, hit the 'silly little beach' and simultaneously soak up the bands and sea views. Flippin marvelous!"

Beach Break Live features an incredible line up including Dizzee Rascal, The Zutons, Mystery Jets, Friendly Fires and much more..

Celia Norowzian: "We are extremely lucky to be hosting Beach Break Live at St Agnes and will be cherishing and protecting it 100%. This is a serious little drop of heaven - part of the 'Heritage Coast', it is designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and one of the most photographed stretches of coast in the UK! A lot of the layout, art installations and décor is in homage to the beauty of the area' (or something like that) "

With just 3 weeks to go and counting, Beach Break Live has doubled in capacity to 10,000 and is on the verge of selling out of tickets, don't miss the most stunning beach festival this year. Bring it on!
